Flickr Recent Comments - Google Gadget
Lo and behold, I just created a cool google gadget with which you can keep track of the latest comments on your Flickr photos!
Google gadgets are small widgets which you can add or remove from your personalized google home page. Just click on the add to google image below and the gadget will be added to your home page.
Originally inspired by Ck's (http://webdev.yuan.cc/) Toggle Recent Comments userscript, this gadget is one of the many mashup experiments I am doing with various web API's. Do use the gadget and Let me know what you think about it.
Additional note, .CK tells me he took over the above mentioned userscript from satre (http://flickr.com/photos/setre/) to maintain it... see the wonders of internet... satre -> .CK -> hpk!

While looking for the perfect engagement rings, one comes across many other precious items, like pearl earrings and bangles. The general stand of telescopes is to mark them and return later. Good work! It works as advertized. I have one suggestion:
Mine has the words "Flickr Recent Comments" in the title bar, and just below this is says "Recent Comments" in a large reddish-pink font/color.
Would it look cleaner, and take up less space, without the duplicated appearance of the words "Recent Comments"?

I like how it only displays
I like how it only displays comments from others, not ones you put on your own photos. This is better than flickr's "Recent Activity," which tells you there is new stuff when it's just you replying to others' comments.
