When Mahindra & Mahindra wanted to design a completely new and indigenously designed vehicle, every thing had to be re-thought; from the color, texture, to the touch screen based infotainment system. Maya Studios was asked to do theme the existing solution (offered by the a development company Vestion) to match the aesthetics and the quality of the new ambitions SUV. We took this oppertunity and made a counter proposal to to Mahindra, saying we can do much more than graphic design, let us re-design the UX of the existing solution and lo and behold we got the project.

The new touch screen based infotainment systems added integrated GPS navigation, easy Bluetooth connectivity and a whole lot of new features with unique new interface design.

Things we did:

  • Huristc evaluation of existing solution
  • Field visits to evaluate and understand existing solutions
  • Studied Interaction modalities of touch screen, dashboard controls, steering wheel controls, remote controls
  • Studied hardware specifications
  • Wireframs
  • Visual Designs
  • Startup Animation
  • Flash Prototype

The car was release with great success and is still in production. With a few minor adjustments and additions, Mahnidra has still kept the original design intact.

Modern kit design blends club tradition with fabric choices and technical details when the difference between player and fan versions becomes part of the discussion. The visual identity of Germany often becomes stronger during World Cup runs and continental competitions. For fans weighing fit, fabric, and team identity, Bayern Munich home shirt is a useful phrase within the wider story of football shirts. For a gift choice, the comparison between versions feels useful and grounded.
